Psychological Assessment Services

The Mindbuilders One provides comprehensive psychological assessment services for children, adolescents and adults.
All assessments are conducted by qualified and registered clinicians and are tailored to individual needs.

Assessments support:

  • Educational adjustments

  • NDIS access, reviews and reporting

 

Assessments are evidence-based and suitable for schools, GPs, specialists and NDIS planners.

Neurofeedback Training

Evidence-Informed Neurofeedback Therapy

The Mindbuilders One provides Neurofeedback Training as a non-invasive, evidence-informed intervention to support brain self-regulation and functional performance.

 

Neurofeedback may support individuals experiencing:

  • Attention and concentration difficulties

  • Emotional regulation challenges

  • Anxiety and stress-related symptoms

  • Sleep regulation difficulties

  • Neurodevelopmental differences

Our Approach

  • Delivered by trained clinicians

  • Integrated with psychological and behavioural supports

  • Individualised protocols based on assessment findings

  • Goal-aligned and outcome-monitored

Neurofeedback is offered as part of a broader therapeutic plan and may complement psychological therapy, behaviour support and skill development services.

Early Intervention
(Ages 0–9)

Our Early Intervention services support children during critical developmental years, focusing on foundational skills that promote long-term outcomes.

 

Key focus areas:

  • Communication development

  • Emotional regulation

  • Functional and adaptive skill development

 

Services are delivered collaboratively with families and, where appropriate, early learning and community settings.

Behaviour Support
(All Ages)

We provide evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support in line with NDIS guidelines and best-practice frameworks.

 

Our Behaviour Support services include:

  • Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)

  • Individualised Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)

  • Proactive, risk-aware strategies

  • Integration with Individual Support Plans (ISP)

 

Supports aim to enhance safety, participation and quality of life while reducing reliance on restrictive practices.

Psychological & Mental Health Support

We provide individual psychological therapy for children, adolescents and adult experiencing:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Trauma-related challenges

 

All services are delivered using a trauma-informed, person-centred approach within a safe and confidential environment.

Teen Transition Program
(Ages 13–17)

A structured program supporting adolescents as they prepare for adulthood.

 

Program focus:

  • Independence and confidence building

  • Social and life skill development

  • Preparation for post-school pathways

 

Supports include centre-based programs, skill-building activities and supported community participation.

Pathway to Work & Independent Living
(Ages 16+)

Vocational & Independence Pathway

A structured pathway supporting participants from foundational skill development through to sustainable open employment and independent living.

Includes:

  • Employment readiness and life skills

  • Vocational exploration and skill development

  • Structured work trials

  • Transition to employment or further training

 

Supports are tailored to individual strengths, interests and support needs.

Supported Employment

We provide supported employment services to assist participants to gain work experience and transition into open employment.

 

Supported Employment includes:

  • On-the-job skill development

  • Workplace coaching and adjustments

  • Employer liaison

  • Ongoing follow-up to support job retention

 

Our focus is on sustainable employment outcomes aligned with participant goals.
